Black-legged kittiwake chicks are hatching these days

The black-legged kittiwakes nest in the fenders at the steamer quay on Grip. They also have a "hotel" on the breakwater.

Elsewhere in the harbour, you can also spot black guillemots, common gulls, European herring gulls, great black-backed gulls and cormorants. During the crossing, you might occasionally spot white-tailed eagles.
